Ways to Give
"For me personally, I always wanted to go to an all-girls school. Everyone was so nice and loving at Regina. The teachers are great. They are very supportive and always ready to help, and I am never afraid to ask for help."
-Rhoda Akosah, Class of 2023
The Regina Fund
This way to give is by far the easiest and most common way to support Regina Dominican. The Regina Fund provides critically needed unrestricted support for programmatic enhancements, technology upgrades, tuition assistance, and annual operations and expenses not covered by tuition. There are two ways to make your gift:
- Donate online.
- Send a check (made out to Regina Dominican) and mail it to:
701 Locust Road Wilmette, IL 60091
The Veritas Society is a formal organization of lead benefactors to the Regina Dominican Fund. Membership in the society is accorded to those supporters whose donation has a cumulative annual value of $1,000 or more.
Each year, members of the Veritas Society gather at a private dinner with the President of Regina Dominican in recognition of their leadership role in a successful annual campaign.
Dominican Heritage Society (Planned Giving)
Supporters who include Regina Dominican in their estate plans are recognized as members of the Dominican Heritage Society. For more information, please click here.
Take a Seat Campaign
You can be a part of the Regina Dominican’s history by personalizing an auditorium seat in your name or that of a friend, loved one, classmate, favorite teacher, or a fond Regina memory. For more information, please click here.
Illinois Tax Credit Program - Invest in Kids
In August 2017, the Illinois legislature passed the Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship Program bill, Invest in Kids, which allows for a 75% income tax credit for individuals and corporations who make authorized contributions to a non-profit Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). SGOs such as Empower Illinois and Big Shoulders will award scholarships to qualifying students based on family income. For more information, please click here.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts
A matching gift by your company or organization extends your generosity by adding the matching amount to your own gift at no additional expense to you. It is easy to make a matching gift. Simply: Contact your Human Resources Department and inquire about your company’s matching employee donations policy. Follow the procedure they recommend. Designate Regina Dominican as your gift recipient.
We have two event sponsorship opportunities. The Booster Club Golf Outing in the fall and the Black and White Dinner Auction at the beginning of the school year. For more information, please click here.
Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is like a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations you care about.
Grants from your DAF should be payable to Regina Dominican High School and mailed to:
Regina Dominican Tax ID: 36-2378515

A Gift of Securities
A donor that owns appreciated securities can benefit in two ways by making a gift of securities to Regina Dominican. First, they will be able to claim a charitable income tax deduction for the full value of the shares, and second, they will be able to avoid the capital gains tax that would have been due if they sold the shares. When making a gift of securities, it is important that you arrange for a direct transfer of your securities to Regina Dominican and not sell them yourself. Contact the Regina Dominican Advancement Office for additional information.
