Regina Dominican track & field is sending eight athletes to Sate! The team competed at the 2A IHSA Sectionals on Wednesday, May 9th at Richmond Burton High School. The 4x100M team set a new school record on their way to becoming Sectional Champions and earning a State bid. The 4x800M team earned a spot at State, the team includes two breakout freshman and two Sophomores. Senior Haneefa Adam will also be going to State in the Triple Jump for the second consecutive year.

Paws up to the Regina Dominican Track & Field team for their participation at State last weekend! Below are some highlights from the competition:
- Haneefa Adam '23 medaled for the 2nd straight year in the triple jump, going 10.94m. Adam finished 7th overall.
- The 4×100 relay comprised of Sara Byrne '24, Haneefa Adam '23,Kendall Williams '23, and Tiffany Richards '24,finished 18th in the preliminary round, going 50.49.
- The 4×800 relay team comprised of Olivia Mauer '26, Charlotte Kroll '25, Nora McCabe '25, and Chloe Thiel '26, finished 24th, going 10:37.83.
