Did you know that girls’ confidence drops almost 30% from 5th to 9th grade and doesn’t rebound until later in adulthood? Team Shine Bright, led by McKenzie Johnson, Trinity Norman, Isabella Nunez, and Tamia Quach, is tackling this issue through their senior capstone project.
On November 17, these students will be leading the Young Leaders Workshop for 8th grade girls. This team has conducted in-depth research on girls and confidence and created activities that empower middle school girls to embrace their unique qualities and become more bold, brave, and fearless.
