Regina Dominican Cross Country Team Secures Second Consecutive Independent School League Championship
Wilmette, IL-Regina Dominican High School is proud to announce that the Regina Dominican Cross Country team has earned its second straight Independent School League (ISL) Championship, following a standout performance on Thursday, October 16 at Lake Forest Academy.
The Panthers captured the title with a team score of 40 points, edging out strong competition and showcasing the depth and strength of their roster. The final team scores were:
- Regina Dominican – 40
- Latin – 45
- University High School – 73
- Lake Forest Academy – 82
- Willows Academy – 119
Regina Dominican’s success was fueled by balanced team performance, with all Panther runners finishing in the top 25.
Individual Highlights:
- Niamh Byrne ‘28 earned All-ISL honors, finishing 4th overall with a time of 20:31
- Madeline Haran ‘28 also earned All-ISL honors, placing 7th overall with a time of 20:57
