Faith & Service
While Regina Dominican High School is rooted in the Catholic Dominican tradition, we are open to students of all faiths.
The Dominican value of Veritas(Truth) and our personal value of Caritas(Love), inspires our educational philosophy, from which students of all faiths can benefit.
Read on to learn more about the role that Ministry and Faith plays in our school and know that all will be welcomed here.
Campus Ministry
Campus Ministry at Regina Dominican is grounded in Dominican spirituality and charism as inherited from the founders of the school, the Adrian Dominican Sisters. Guided by the Dominican motto Veritas (Truth), Regina Dominican’s ministry program builds on the Four Pillars of Dominican life: Prayer, Study, Community, and Service. Combined with the school’s second motto of Caritas (Love or Compassion), each pillar works together to create a spiritually-rich faith foundation for our students.
Dominican Preachers
Dominican Preachers are students who are interested in taking a leadership role in Campus Ministry and faith formation. These students lead the Regina Dominican community by helping to plan daily prayer, liturgical celebrations, and service projects. Dominican Preachers put faith into action and exemplify Dominican values by preaching from the pulpit of their lives.
I love Dominican Preachers because I am able to not only help plan our all school masses, but it has given me the opportunity to grow in my faith. I enjoy being a part of a community where I have a purpose and can seek ideas from those around me!Caroline G. '26

Retreats
A cornerstone of our Ministry, Faith, and Service commitments, we offer a retreat for each grade to build deeper relationships with their peers, reflect on their spirituality, and engage in service activities. Many of our students say these retreats are the highlight of their school year.
Retreats are opportunities for the students to personally experience and reflect on the four Dominican Pillars. Every year, students attend a retreat designed specifically for their grade level in collaboration with the Theology Department and Campus Ministry. Retreats integrate curriculum content with opportunities for faith formation and spiritual reflection.

A Spirit of Service
At Regina Dominican, one of our core values is Caritas—love and compassion—which reminds us that service is rooted in love of neighbor and a shared commitment to care for others.
We work to instill a spirit of service in all students, regardless of faith, so they learn to lead with kindness, support the community, and make a difference in the world.
Our comprehensive four-year service ministry program helps every student make preaching a way of life. Students serve both the Regina community and communities beyond, extending learning beyond the classroom. Through this program, the Campus Ministry Department promotes growth, empowering each Panther to become mature, well-rounded, and socially responsible people of faith.
