Accelerated Mathematics Program
For Current 7th & 8th Grade Students

Regina Dominican’s Accelerated Mathematics Program offers motivated 7th and 8th grade students the opportunity to begin a challenging high school math sequence before entering ninth grade. Designed for students who demonstrate exceptional mathematical ability, this program allows participants to advance confidently into higher-level coursework throughout high school.

Students build a strong academic foundation while becoming familiar with Regina Dominican’s learning environment, faculty, and expectations.
Program Schedule
- 7:45 AM – 9:10 AM
- Held every other day on days Regina is in session
- Wednesday classes are conducted through an e-learning format
Pathways to Success
Beginning in 7th Grade
- 7th Grade: Honors Algebra I
- 8th Grade: Honors Geometry
- 9th Grade: Honors Algebra II / Trigonometry
- 10th Grade: AP Precalculus
- 11th Grade: AP Calculus AB
- 12th Grade Options: AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science
Beginning in 8th Grade
- 8th Grade: Honors Algebra I
- 9th Grade: Honors Algebra II / Trigonometry
- 10th Grade: Honors Geometry
- 11th Grade: AP Precalculus
- 12th Grade Options: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science
Qualifications & Application Process
To be eligible for the 2026–2027 school year:
- Student must be enrolled in 7th or 8th grade.
- Student must score in the 90th percentile on a standardized mathematics assessment administered at their current school.
- The student’s current Principal or Mathematics Teacher must submit the Application and Recommendation Form.
- Application deadline: Friday, April 17, 2026
- Students must complete the Accelerated Mathematics Entrance Exam.
- Virtual exam date: May 9, 2026
- Program Cost: $1,000.00
