Rooted in Dominican Tradition. Inspired for the Future.
Since opening its doors in 1958, Regina Dominican High School has been a guiding light in Catholic, all-girls education.
Founded by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, our school was built on the pillars of the Dominican tradition: Veritas (Truth) and Caritas (Love). These values continue to shape our mission as we prepare young women to think critically, lead courageously, and serve faithfully.
Regina Dominican was founded by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, a congregation of vowed women religious rooted in Gospel values and committed to social justice, education, and truth.

Regina Dominican is a proud sponsored ministry of Dominican Veritas Ministries (DVM), a canonical entity of the Dominican Sisters of Adrian, Michigan. As our official sponsor, Dominican Veritas Ministries ensures that our mission remains deeply aligned with the charism of St. Dominic, focused on truth, justice, prayer, community, and the pursuit of knowledge.
Through this sponsorship, Regina Dominican:
- Lives out the Dominican values of study, prayer, service, and community
- Commits to academic excellence rooted in Gospel values
- Fosters a faithful, inclusive, and justice-oriented culture
- Develops compassionate leaders equipped to impact a global society
While Dominican Veritas Ministries provides spiritual and mission oversight, our heritage with the Adrian Dominican Sisters continues to shape our school community in visible and meaningful ways.

Our Name
“Regina Dominican” honors both our Catholic identity and our Dominican heritage.
- “Regina” means Queen referring to Mary, Queen of Heaven, who serves as a model of strength, grace, and faith.
- “Dominican” reflects our foundation in the Dominican Order, inspired by St. Dominic, who championed truth, justice, and the pursuit of knowledge.

Our Mission Lives On
The legacy of the Adrian Dominican Sisters lives vibrantly in every hallway, classroom, and student at Regina Dominican. We are proud to continue their work by forming strong, thoughtful, and compassionate young women, ready to lead with confidence and act with integrity.
"Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire." — St. Catherine of Siena

Dominican Blessing
May God the Creator bless us, may God the Redeemer heal us, may God the Holy Spirit enlighten us
and give us eyes to see, ears to hear and hands to do the work of God;
Feet to walk the path of justice and mouths to preach the Good News.
May the angel of peace watch over us and lead us, at last, to the Reign of God.
Amen.
