Choosing a high school is one of the more important decisions a family makes — and it can feel overwhelming. There are so many good options on the North Shore, and every school will tell you it's special. So we pose a simpler question: how does a school meet your daughter at this stage of her life? How does it help her grow, find real friends, deepen her curiosity, and learn to think for herself?
High school is a season of brain rewiring: the years when a young woman builds her sense of self, her sense of purpose, and the confidence to try and fail, again and again. That's why Regina stands on its own — unapologetically all-girls, unmistakably Dominican, and small enough that every student is known by name, not by number.
Being known changes everything. It's how a quiet freshman finds the confidence to speak up in class, how a first-time actress lands a role senior year, how a student-athlete builds the resilience that carries her into college and beyond. In a small school, opportunities aren't rationed — every girl can lead, compete, perform, and explore, without getting stuck in a track or lost in the crowd. That closeness doesn't just support learning; it shapes brave, capable young women.
Our mission asks something bold of every student: be an independent thinker, a relentless truth-seeker, a confident and compassionate leader. Veritas, truth, is the word our founding order has lived by since St. Dominic himself, the same pursuit that sent St. Thomas Aquinas deep into study, chasing faith and reason together. But the Dominicans have always insisted that the search for truth be marked by joy — and at Regina, that joy is everywhere: in laughter between classes, in the friendships that outlast graduation, in the simple delight of discovering you're capable of more than you knew.
